Westfield To VIdeostream All Home Games This Season

The Westfield State University home football game vs. Nichols College on Friday, Sept. 3, at 7:00 p.m. will be videostreamed live on the internet. Go to http://www.mascac.tv/ to watch the game; there is no viewing fee.
All five Westfield home football games, along with several away games, can be viewed on the internet. Westfield students Bryan Stockhaus and James Clover will be providing the play-by-play.

Westfield State football head coach Steve Marino, second from left, was the guest of honor at the Owl Club's fourth annual golf tournament held Monday, Aug. 2, at The Ranch in Southwick. Playing in Marino's foursome were, left to right: football alumni Tim Brillo, Jack Doherty and Bill Chase. "We had a great day of golf at the Ranch, with 148 players and more than 60 alumni participating, and we raised more than $15,000 to support our athletics program with this event," said David Caspole, senior development coordinator for athletics. Westfield State's Chris Stengel has been selected to two national preseason NCAA Division III football teams.
The standout senior punter from Forest Hill, Md., earned first team defense honors on Lindy's college football magazine's 2010 All-Division III team, along with being selected to the D3 Senior Classic committee's All-America North Region first team.
Lindy's, published for the past 29 years, is rated America's leading football authority. Stengel is the only New England region player on the prestigious preseason squad.

Back by popular demand, the student-athletes on the teams of football, men’s soccer, field hockey, women’s soccer and volleyball will be housed in Courtney Hall during preseason. Student-athletes will report to Courtney Hall upon arriving to campus.
