WESTFIELD, Mass.  -- Westfield State University alumna Ashley Craig '18 has been selected as Miss February - for Vaulter Magazine's 2019 calendar.

VaulterMagazine.com covers the event of pole vault in the track and field world, and annually publishes a calendar of athletes competing in that discipline.   The image of Craig selected for the magazine is actually a frame grab of digital video that Westfield State assistant track and field coach Jason Weber shot at the 2018 NCAA Division III national championship meet in La Crosse, Wisc., last May.   Weber submitted the image to the magazine.

Craig's photo is featured for the month of February on the calendar.

Craig had a sensational senior year at Westfield State, as she earned All-America honors by finishing fifth in the nation at that meet.

Craig holds the Westfield State school record in the pole vault with a height of 12'- 9.5".

The current Westfield State track and field team is enjoying their winter break, returning to campus next week and the team will compete at Smith College on Saturday, January 19.
