WESTFIELD, Mass. — Kenneth Rogers, Jr. (Springfield, Mass.) continues to dominate the MASCAC weekly honors as he records his eighth Rookie of the Week honor.
Rogers Jr. was three assists shy of his first triple double of his collegiate career as he scored 20 points, grabbed down ten boards and notched sevens assists.
Rogers Jr. still leads the MASCAC in scoring as he averages 18.9 points per game, he is still in second averaging 9.2 rebounds a game, and is sixth in the conference averaging 3.8 assists per game as a forward. Rogers Jr. has only scored under 18 points twice to kick start this 2025 half of the season.
Rogers Jr. and the Owls suffered their first MASCAC loss of the season at the hands of Bridgewater on Saturday but are still tied for first in the league with this week's opponent, Salem State. Westfield will hit the road on Wednesday, January 29 and head to Salem State to battle for the top spot in the conference, tip off is at 5:00 pm.
