Westfield State men's golf placed fifth at the 2026 Rich Kozec Memorial Tournament at Tatnuck Coutry Club in Worcester, Mass. on Monday afternoon.
The Owls finished with a team total of 335, 30 strokes back of tournament champion Western New England University.
The Owls were led by a pair of 82's from Nathan Kopetas and Aidan Asher, who finished tied for 14th in the 26 player field. Western New England's Derek Johnson won the tournament with a 1-over par 71,on the 9-hole Donald Ross designed course that plays 6,068 yards from the back tees). The course, founded in 1898, was one of the first 100 golf clubs established in the United States.
