Johnson 11th at All-New England Meet

Westfield State junior Gordon Johnson (Hanson, Mass./Whitman-Hanson HS) took 11th place in the men's 800 meters at the New England All-Divisions championship meet at the Reggie Lewis Center on Friday afternoon.

Johnson ran 1:58.22, a season-best time for him.  He was third among the NCAA D3 runners in the field. Ryan Orr from D2 Bentley won the race in 1:53.44.

Johnson is the only Owls athlete competing at the All-New England meet this weekend.   Ali Warsame and Eliza Lee will compete at the Tufts Last Chance Qualifier in the men's and women's triple jump events tomorrow.
