Men's Track Competes at Smith College

Westfield State's Owen Klatka won the high jump with a leap of 1.77 meters to highlight the Owls men's track and field results at the Mary Grinaker Invitational at Smith College on Saturday.

Daniel Shea won the long jump for the second straight week, with a mark of 6.36 meters.    Brandon Paquette was third in the event at 6.30 meters.

Rowan Gottschall was third in the 1000 in 2:42.80, with Andrew Organ fourth in 2:42.29 setting a personal best time.

Organ was also fifth in the mile in 4:45.30, another personal best.

Xavier Merkman posted a third place result in the weight throw at 14.49 meters, and Colin Mahoney was fourth in the 600 in 1:28.17.
