WESTFIELD, Mass. -- Westfield State cross country runners Nathan Sylven (Wrentham, Mass./King Phillip) and Andrew Organ (Suffield, Conn.) were recognized as 2025 All Conference runners, the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference announced today.
Sylven and Organ earned honors by virtue of finishing the top 10 at the conference championship meet in Saturday at Stanley Park in Westfield.
Sylven, a junior, placed fourth on the 8-kilometer course in time of 26:14.82. He earned all-conference honors for the third straight season. He was named the league's rookie and runner of the year in 2023, when he won the race, and had a third-place individual finish in 2024.
Organ, a first-year student, wound up eighth in 27:05.
Westfield State finished second in the team standings at the MASCAC Championships. The Owls will take a break this week while finishing up training for the 2025 NCAA Division III Mideast Regionals at St. Lawrence University in Canton, N.Y. on November 18.
