Grant Earns MASCAC Recognition
Sophomore forward Jordan Grant receives the MASCAC Rookie of the Week
Westfield Mass.- Westfield State University's Jordan Grant (Gray, ME) received the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week honors.
Throughout the week she averaged 16.8 points on 63% shooting, 5.8 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 1.8 steals, and led the Owls to a 3-1 week. Grant was in double digit scoring all week long and dropped a season high 23 points in the Owls blowout win over MCLA on January 30th.
In 10 appearances this season, the sophomore forward is averaging 14.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.
Grant will look to propel Westfield State through the finishing three weeks of the regular season as the Owls host conference-leading Framingham State on Wednesday at 5:30 P.M. from the Woodward Center in Westfield, Mass.
