WESTFIELD, Mass. — Jordan Grant (Gray, Maine) has been selected to play in the New England Women's Basketball Association All-Star game Sunday, March 30 at Smith College.
NEWBA selects 22 of the New England region's finest division III women's basketball players to play in the game. Grant was selected four times this season to NEWBA's weekly honor roll, including three times to the NEWBA honor roll first-team.
This adds on to Grant's season accolades as she was named All-MASCAC first team this season, she has been named to D3Hoops' all-region squad, and now NEWBA all-star game.
Grant averaged 16.7 points per game (Second in the MASCAC), she shot 50.0% shooting percentage this season (First in the MASCAC), and averaged 2.3 steals per game (sixth in the MASCAC).
