Williams Named to MASCAC All-Conference Second Team
The senior captain finished second in the conference in rebounding and top five in steals.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State senior captain Tavi Williams (Springfield, Mass.) earned seasonal honors after a strong individual year, receiving a spot on the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference all-conference second team.
Williams gathers all-conference honors after finishing second in the conference in rebounds per game at 9.5 while averaging 7.4 points per game. She capped the season second on the team with 63 assists and 89 steals. She recorded double digit rebounds in 11 games, grabbing 18 boards in a 75-66 victory over Albright in the Westfield Gas & Electric tip-off tournament championship game.
For Williams, this is the second time in her Owls career that she earned placement on the MASCAC all-conference team as she was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore, receiving all-conference first team recognition in a year where she forced 3.1 steals per game and led the Owls in rebounding. In her rookie season, Williams started for Westfield which made a run to the MASCAC Championship game.
Williams wraps up her four-year career with the fourth-most steals in program history at 312 and sixth all-time in rebounds as guard with 741. She accumulated 630 career points.
Westfield State finished the 2025-26 season with an overall record of 17-9, marking the 15th consecutive season the Owls have posted a .500 or better record under head coach Andrea Bertini. The Owls season ended in the MASCAC quarterfinals against Anna Maria.
