LateAfternoon Rain Washes Out WSU Invitational Golf

A late afternoon cloudburst washed out the first WSU Invitational golf tournament for the Owls women's golf team on Saturday at Shaker Farms Country Club in Westfield.

Dorothy Duval's 102 was the low round for the Owls golfers who were able to finish before the lightning horn blew, and the course was rendered unplayable.

Suffolk University's Brooke Bugajewski shot the low round of the day with a 78.

No team scores were recorded due to the incomplete rounds.
