Women’s Golf Competes at Keene State Invitational

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State junior Ashley Ames (Valatie, N.Y.) carded the lowest Owls score of the day as the Owls competed at the Keene State College Fall Invitational from Keene Country Club on Sunday afternoon.

Ames shot a 102 on the day while Julie Gleason (Houston, Texas) was second for Westfield after logging a 115.

The Owls finished in seventh place while Suffolk won the match thanks in part to Krisna Mahendran who finished as the individual winner for the round.

Westfield State will have one match remaining before the Little East Championship as the Owls will host Nichols College on Tuesday, October 7 from Tekoa Country Club at 2:00 P.M.
