Gordon Holds Off Owls in Dual Match

Gordon College edged Westfield State, 423-430 in a women's golf dual match at Shaker Farms Country Club in Westfield on Saturday afternoon.

Gordon was led by the low round of the day with a 98 from Mya Glaser and got a 102 from Elizabeth Parent.  Those scores proved to be the difference in the match, as Julie Gleason fired the low round for the Owls at 101, and Ashley Ames followed at 106, accounting for the seven stroke win for the Fighting Scots.

Westfield State will complete its spring season by hosting Eastern Connecticut State in a dual match next Sunday, April 19.
