Westfield State first-year Jackie Roccabruna (Pittsfield, Mass.) took second in the 200 freestyle to highlight day 2 of the Little East Conference Swimming and Diving Championships for the Owls at the Boston Sports Institute in Wellesley, Mass. on Saturday evening.
Westfield State swimming and diving celebrated the careers of seniors Molly Finnegan and Kara Banagan on Saturday, then went out and swam past UMass-Dartmouth, 162-41 to cap the home portion of the schedule for the Owls.
Westfield State junior Alexa Richter won the 50 freestyle to lead the efforts of the Owls women’s swimming and diving team at the Bridgewater State Invitational on Saturday.
