Owls Triumphant in 11 Events at Albertus Magnus
The Owls won 11 events on a productive afternoon with Chloe Chofay winning the 50 breaststroke and the 100 IM.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State swimming and diving competed at Albertus Magnus in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon and were victorious in a 217-47 decision.
The Owls won 11 events on a productive afternoon with Chloe Chofay (Blackstone, Mass.) winning the 50 breaststroke and the 100 IM.
Westfield won two relay races as Jackie Roccabruna (Pittsfield, Mass.), Emily Rogers (Lowell, Mass.), Vivian Vanderpool (Elgin, Okla.) and Amanda Laferriere (Burnt Hills, N.Y.) winning the 200 yard medley relay. Roccabruna and Rogers both secured individual event honors as well.
Kiera Fallon (Ayer, Mass.), Aurora Lee (South Hadley, Mass.), Shaelyn Mullen (Greenfield, Mass.), and Laferriere were triumphant in the 200 yard freestyle relay.
Westfield State continues their season on Sunday, November 2 at Simmons for a 1:00 P.M. start.
