Lee Leads Owls at Trinity
Lee’s mark in the triple jump currently ranks 25th on the NCAA performance list this season.
WESTFIELD, Mass. — Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) got it done from both the track and from the field on Saturday afternoon for the Trinity Invitational meet.
Lee had the top distance on the women's long jump as she jumped 5.52m. Lee also finished second in the women's 400 m hurdles with a time of 1:07.25. Lee also finished with a second place finish in women's triple jump with a distance of 11.57m.
Lee's mark in the triple jump currently ranks 25th on the NCAA performance list this season. The top 22 declared athletes on the performance list are invited to compete at the national championship at the conclusion of the season.
The women had a slew of impressive finishes today including Shea Hamel (Longmeadow, Mass.) with a top finish in the women's 5000m run with a time of 19:10.74. Delaney Parker (Orange, Mass.) had n eighth place finish in the women's 100m dash with a time of 12.60 and a 12th place finish in the women's 200 m with a time of 26.39. Bronwyn Pinsly (Las Vegas, Nev.) had a fifth place finish in women's discus with a distance of 33.92m.
The Owls women's track and field team will head to Bridgewater next Friday as they compete in the MASCAC outdoor championships.
