Lee, Owls Track and Field Receive 2025 USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards
Westfield State athlete Eliza Lee and both Westfield State men’s and women’s track and field teams were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Awards list.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Westfield State athlete Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) along with both men's and women's track and field teams were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams for this past season.
Lee earned a spot on the Division III women's track and field all-academic athletes list. In order to achieve placement on the all-academic team, athletes must achieve a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or above and must have placed within the top 50 individuals as listed on the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) within their respective sport.
Lee, a junior Nursing Major, placed within the top 50 nationally in both the long jump (32nd) and the triple jump (36th) and earned All-Region honors in both events at the All-New England Division III Regional Championships. Lee was also a MASCAC Champion in the 800 and the triple jump.
On the USTFCCCA All-Academic teams list, both men's and women's track and field teams secured academic achievement. To qualify, the team grade point average of all athletes who used a season of eligibility needed to be a 3.10 or above. The women's track and field team posted a 3.54 team cumulative GPA, the highest of any MASCAC institution. The Owl men recorded a team GPA of 3.16. Westfield State was one of two MASCAC schools that had both teams named to the all-academic teams list.
