Women’s Track Piles Up Ten Personal Records at Dartmouth Invite
Reese Stevens set a PR time in the 1000 and currently leads all NED3 runners in the event.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – Reese Stevens (Agawam, Mass.) highlighted one of ten personal record times for women's track and field which competed at the Dartmouth December Invite from Hanover, N.H. on Saturday afternoon.
Stevens set a PR time in the 1000, posting a time of 3:05.20 for a fourth-place finish. She was .20 off the automatic qualifier time and currently sits in first in all of New England Division III times in the event.
Senior Eliza Lee (Walpole, Mass.) was top three in both the long jump (5.24m) and the triple jump (10.82m) and was fourth in the 300 where she set a personal record time of 43.10 seconds in the event. Anjalina Lubarsky (Ludlow, Mass.) also participated in the 300 and set a personal record time by checking in with a mark of 44.84.
Emma Daly (Pittsfield, Mass.) had a terrific afternoon for the Owls. The first-year athlete delivered two separate personal best times: a third-place finish in the high jump (1.50m) and an 8.38 sprint in the 60m dash.
Tealei Chandonnet (Dracut, Mass.) was fourth place in the 3000, crossing the tape in 10:51.15. Following Chandonnet was a trio of personal record times in the event: Julianne Kelly (Natick, Mass.), Sam Panzeri (Billerica, Mass.), and Brooke Soucy (Methuen, Mass.).
In the 1000, Amanda Walsh (Needham, Mass.) and Quinlin Cook (Granby, Mass.) both set personal best times with Cook finishing in 3:37.60 and Walsh in 3:44.50.
In the shot put, Charlee Carr (Vernon, Conn.) launched an indoor-best mark in her first attempt with a distance of 8.11m.
Westfield State will be back in action in the year 2026 as the Owls participate in the Coast Guard Winter Invite #1 on Saturday, January 17 from New London, Conn.
