Owls Field Hockey Places 13 on LEC All-Academic Team

WESTFIELD, Mass. –  Westfield State field hockey placed 13 student athletes on the Fall 2021 Little East Conference All-Academic Team.

Student-athletes named to the team are at least a sophomore in the classroom, have a full year of residency at their current institution, and carry at 3.30 cumulative GPA through the last complete semester.

The Owls recognized are:

Corryn Moroney       So.            Elementary Education (South Hadley, Mass.)

Madison Ouellette    So.            Undeclared (Uxbridge, Mass.)

Paige Reisman           So.            Elementary Education (Milford, Mass.)

Shannon Roycroft     Sr.            Communication (Barnstable, Mass./Proctor Acad.)

Lily Spencer               So.            Nursing (South Deerfield, Mass./Frontier)

Westfield State finished the 2021 season with an 8-4 record in the Little East Conference and a 9-10 record overall under head coach Jessica Bergen.
