Key Conference Hoop Doubleheader Wednesday; All-Conference Student Athletes to Be Recognized

Westfield State University men’s and women’s basketball teams both host Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference games this coming Wednesday, February 3 as the Owls play Worcester State in a doubleheader at the Woodward Center. The women's game tips off at 5:30 p.m., with the men starting at 7:30 p.m. During halftime of both games there will be a ceremony recognizing Fall All-Conference student-athletes. The women's game will recognize women’s and men’s cross country, and volleyball. The men's game will honor women’s and men’s soccer, and football.

Emmanuel Tops Men's Basketball, 77-68

WESTFIELD, Mass. – Emmitt Riddick (Middletown, Conn.) finished with 19 points to lead Emmanuel College, as the Saints pulled away from Westfield State in th second half for a 77-68 win in a non-conference men’s basketball game at the Woodward Center.
