MASCAC Championship MVP DeMaio Named Conference Player and Rookie of the Week
Natalie DeMaio receives weekly honors after late-game heroics
After a thrilling MASCAC Championship victory, Natalie DeMaio (Westwood, Mass.) earned the league's player of the week and rookie of the week honors. The first-year attacker netted a team-high four goals including the game-winning goal with five seconds remaining to win the league title 14-13 and send the Owls to the NCAA tournament.
DeMaio has made an immediate impact in her first season as an Owl, collecting 20 points on 18 goals and two assists. Her 18 goals is tied for second on the team and her 20 total points is tied for fourth overall.
