Chandonnet, Lee Win Events at Wheaton Post Season Qualifier
Chandonnet claimed the 3,000 meters in 10:36.34 to post a New England D3 meet qualifying time
At the Post-Season Qualifier hosted by Wheaton College on February 21, 2026, Westfield State University turned in a series of solid performances.
Eliza Lee led the way with a pair of wins, capturing the long jump (5.26m) and the triple jump (10.98m), while Tealei Chandonnet claimed the 3,000 meters in 10:36.34 to post a New England D3 meet qualifying time.
Shea Hamel added a third-place finish in the 3,000m (10:44.79 -PR), with Samantha Panzeri (7th), Julianne Kelly (9th), and Brooke Soucy (10th) also scoring top-10 finishes in the event as Panzeri and Soucy east ran personal bests.
In the mile, Reese Stevens delivered a runner-up performance in 5:17.24, a 3-second personal best time, and a provisional qualifying time for the New England D3 meet. Erin Jacobson also delivered a personal best time in the mile.
Molly Lenehan placed ninth in the 800 meters (2:32.12). Westfield also saw top-10 efforts from Jailene Felix in the 400m (3rd), Devin Whalen in the 60m hurdles (7th), and Emma Daly in the high jump (5th). In the field events, Ava Lapa (4th) and Bella Coughlin (6th) joined Lee in the long jump top six, while Coughlin added a 10th-place finish in the triple jump.
Qualifield Owls athletes will next compete at the New England D3 Championship meet next Saturday at the Track at New Balance in Boston.
