The championship meet takes place on Sunday beginning at 5:00 P.M. from Wheaton College in Norton, Mass.
At Harvard, Shea Hamel placed seventh in the 5000 meters at the Harvard Invitational in a time of 18:38.62, setting an indoor best time
Westfield State athletes ran 1-2-3 in the 5000 meters, led by Shea Hamel in 19:03.32 followed by Reese Stevens and Sam Panzieri.
Shea Hamel finished first in the mile and third in the 1000 to front the Owls performance at Coast Guard.
Westfield will next compete at the Dartmouth December Invitational next Saturday, Dec. 13, in Hanover, N.H.
