Lee Places Third in TJ As Owls Compete at NED3's
Lee jumped 11.29 meters (37’-0.5”) in the triple jump
WESTFIELD., Mass. – A select group of Westfield State athletes competed at the 2026 New England Division III Indoor Championship at the TRACK at new balance, on Sunday, highlighted by Eliza Lee's third-place finish in the women's triple jump.
Lee jumped 11.29 meters (37'-0.5") in the triple jump scoring six points in the team scoring, where the Owl women placed 27th. She also placed 14th in the long jump at 5.17 meters (16'-11.5").
Westfield's distance medley relay team—Tealei Chandonnet, Shea Hamel, Julie Richardson, and Reese Stevens—finished 14th in 13:11.68.
On the men's side of the meet top results came from Rowan Gottschall's 14th in the 600 meters in 1:25.65.
Gottschall was also part of the Owls 4x800 relay team that was 13th in 8:22.47 along with Drew Organ, Reid sunshine and Lorcan Bergeron.
Michael Pelletier placed 14th in the long jump with a mark of 6.45 meters (20'-2"), while Danny Shea was 18th with a mark of 6.35 meters.
