Westfield State women’s soccer visits Middlebury College for an NCAA first round match on Saturday at 11:00 A.M.
MASCAC Tournament MVP Julia Robak was joined by Olivia Crooks and Liv DeMember in the MASCAC’s weekly honors for this past week.
Olivia Crooks scored the game’s lone goal early in the second half to send Owls to a 1-0 winning decision over Worcester State in the conference title game.
Westfield defeated Bridgewater 2-0, and the Owls advance to Sunday's Championship game at Worcester State
The Owls and Bears will meet for third straight postseason tonight at 7:00 P.M. from Alumni Field.
Owls take down the Trailblazers 4-0 on Halloween night to secure a first-round bye in the MASCAC playoffs.
Tomasetti tallied two goals, and the Owls held Anna Maria without a shot in a 3-0 road victory on Friday night.
Kiki McNary and Liv DeMember both scored goals as Westfield State tied UMass Boston 2-2 in a road match on Wednesday night.
Tollis angled a headed shot to the right side of the net to break the tie and give the Owls the inside track to the number one seed in the MASCAC.
Muratsuka scored with 4:16 remaining in the match to send the Owls home victorious.
Westfield State’s Julia Robak (Chicopee, Mass.) needed just one save in goal to post the shutout.
DeMember opened the scoring of the match twenty minutes in with Bridgewater scoring late in the second half to salvage a 1-1 draw.
Ninety minutes of action could not determine a winner as the match ended in a scoreless draw tonight from Alumni Field.
