Westfield enters with plenty of momentum, a 16-game winning streak and a school record for wins
The Westfield State field hockey trio of Kaleigh Murphy, Shannon Gover, and Kacey Curran swept the MASCAC player of the week honors after securing their second straight conference championship this past weekend.
MASCAC Tournament MVP Kaleigh Murphy tallied a goal and assist to help defeat Worcester State 4-2 in the tournament championship game from Alumni Field.

Four different Owls found the back of the net in a balanced effort up front and Emma Gniadek and Olivia Labrie combined for a nine save shutout in net to punctuate a 4-0 Owls win over Fitchburg.
Seven different Owls found the back of the net, including five goals from first-year players as Westfield State blew out Salem State 9-0.
Caroline Andrade finished with three points, but her offensive pressure factored in all four Owls goals.
