11 Owls Student-Athletes Named to CSC Academic All-District At-Large Teams
11 student-athletes from field hockey, ice hockey, and women’s lacrosse earn CSC academic achievement.
WESTFIELD, Mass. – 11 Westfield State student-athletes were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large Teams.
The list of student-athletes who achieved all-district status are comprised of three teams: Field hockey, men's ice hockey, and women's lacrosse. The list of student-athletes are as follows:
- Field hockey: Maddy Barry, Lee Gould, Kaleigh Murphy, Sadie Stauffer
- Men's ice hockey: Cooper Board, Christopher Miraldo, Emile Pichette, Raphael Seguin
- Women's lacrosse: Natalie DeMaio, Paige Jelliffe, Emma Prattson
The CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom.
To achieve all-district honors, a student-athlete must maintain a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 of higher, have reached their sophomore year at their institution, and needed to be a key contributor to their team's athletic season by playing in 90 percent of total games or have started in 66 percent of such games.
